Search for:

Whole chicken at 3.2 pounds
Enough cold water to cover the chicken
Boil and skim, reduce to a simmer
Once chicken is done take out to cool take skin and remove bones save your meat and shred it it’s becomes about 2 pounds in the end
Drain broth but save because this is your base of the soup
Then cook your 1 pound sausage and add your spices
I used ground turkey meat to keep it healthy you could add turnips but my local store didn’t have them in stock.
Add broth back in and shredded chicken
Add heavy whipping cream
Add kale and spinach rolling boil for about 30mins and keep stirring occasionally soup is on
Feeds about 16 people
