If I moved to Florence, I’d want to live exactly here.
We stayed at this one-RK Airbnb for 3 nights and it genuinely ruined every other stay for us. A small aesthetic loft on Via Masaccio with a private balcony, a Nespresso machine, and a washroom that had no business being that spacious 😭
The location is about 2 km from Santa Maria Novella. Far enough to feel like a neighborhood, close enough that the C1 bus gets you to the centre in 20 minutes 🚌 The bus stop is barely 200 metres from the door. There’s a supermarket about 140 metres away where we picked up fresh fruits and a bottle of local wine. Which obviously ended up on the balcony that same evening 🍷
The check-in was smooth. Someone from the property team was there to greet us in person and they were incredibly warm. Our train was delayed by over an hour and they still waited. That kind of thing stays with you ❤️
Now the one thing nobody tells you about Florence Airbnbs. European apartments live in old buildings. The interiors were stunning but there’s no elevator. First floor, staircase, two 25 kg suitcases. I’m just going to say it was very convenient that I came here after getting married because I needed him for the suitcases. That’s it. That’s the reason 😂
We paid around €180 per night which for a fully equipped apartment with AC, a washer-dryer, a kitchen you’ll actually use, and a private balcony in Florence? Felt more than fair 👌
Would we book it again? We’d move in 🏠
