Having tasted Tenuta San Guido’s Guidalberto Toacana IGT 2024, as the second of my pre-release tastings of the wines of Tenuta San Guido I returned to the bottle, which I had vacuvuned to slow its development. Given the wine’s slightly closed nature when I tasted it it was not surprising to find the fruit had opened a little – convincing me the wine is worth a 93 point score. I probably should have decanted the wine before I first tasted it!…
