During a recent visit to the Petra Winery in Tuscany’s Val di Cornia the bottling line was busy – her we see newly filled bottles coming off the line and going to be stacked in metal cages to continue to age before labelling as I cannot see a branding on the shoulder of the bottle I believe this may be the Hebo 2025 being bottled.
I really enjoyed the wines I tasted here, they are all labelled as IGT Toscana. The range starts with the Hebo, a blend of Sangiovese with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The second wine tasted was a lively, elegant Merlot called Querceagobbe and the range is completed by a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that is simply called Petra.
