  1. Worked overnights at a store in Charlotte. Had a lady stop in from NY Im from IL. We started talking pizza and how its not the same. She claimed she had worked high in the food industry for like 20+ years.. Her exact words were "you can import all the ingredients but its the water that makes the crust" that was like 12 years ago.

  2. A guy from a abker I used to go to in NJ said the same when I told him he should open a shop in GA. He said the water isn't the same. It effects the bagels, they don't come out the same.

  3. That chlorine tap water ruins anything you cook with it. If you can’t taste it it’s because that’s all you’ve ever had so you don’t know.

  4. It’s very true. I live in NJ and we all take food for granted here. It’s all in our water. It makes our bread amazing so sandwiches are 🔥

  5. Spring water is hard water lol. The reason NYs water is infamous for the pizza is because of the soft water!

  6. NY does have the best tap water. Idk why but if I travel anywhere else the water tastes funny. Florida water is way different tho, can't even wash the shampoo out your hair.
