What is it like to be the only American in a Chinese High School? Well, in today’s video we’re going to find that out together! My friend Eddie, who’s from Florida USA, came all the way to China when he was only 16 to participate in an exchange program between his American high school and a Chinese high school in Chengdu. As you will see in the video, being the only American kid in a Chinese high school comes with its challenges and ofcourse brings a big culture shock. This experience has changed Eddie’s life forever, making him want to stay and develop his career in China.

  4. Eddie seems like a down to earth, fun guy. My favorite was you two checking out his old school. It was great seeing the students step out of class, practice a little English, and talk about their dreams of going abroad. Loved this video man, great collab

  5. 一吉的video豐富多元有趣,您很認真構思內容,
    看的出來拍視頻很花時間,辛苦了,加油!

  6. Why do Chinese students all want to go to countries that hate them? Japan? Have they heard what the government is spewing? UK and Australia same thing, they all have Anti China government and politicians.

  7. Loving your videos so much! They are so insightful and I'm so glad to have chanced upon your channel~ Keep up the great work!

  8. His Chinese writing is a REAL surprise and BEAUTIFUL! — REALLY (!), not to compare as there is no need to, more BEAUTIFUL than the majority of ethnic-Chinese born outside of China and even many Chinese born in China themselves! THANK YOU TRULY! ❤

  9. hahaha… how often do u get to see 2 Westerners speaking Mandarin to each other? Wishing both of u good health & lots of happiness.

  10. Idk if I'm mistaken… but did they say he was the first foreign exchange student from US to attend this school in China or maybe just the first one from his hometown HS in Florida??? But I find it interesting that everyone in China was very accommodating and were all genuinely friendly. I had preconceptions from other countries that supposedly treated foreigners like outsiders and could be quite mean towards them. I'm happy to see Eddie having such a good experience that he wants to stay there for extended periods of time, and although I would try to treat international people traveling into the US with kindness as acceptance, I'm not completely confident everyone would here would do the same.
