  1. Liking to vlog -👍 Princess is my cruise line – been on Sun Princess 3:x -looking forward to sail the Star Princess – yes, took a little getting use to regarding the change – obviously I’m won over 😄

  2. You match the music to the video so well, the sneaky, cheeky, fun tune whilst checking out the pastries at the cafe didn't go unnoticed. You guys are addictive. I love all the quirky little things you do that make this channel so much fun to watch🙂

  3. Fantastic video as usual. Definitely agree, some great architectural elements of the ship, but the atrium is a swing and a miss for me. I prefer segmented venues where sound doesn't travel too much between them. For me I love a tall tiered atrium, with a cafe and maybe a relaxed bar, with perhaps a pianist. Once you start holding games, trivia, loud live music in the atrium it becomes less of a "bubbly but relaxing" place to dwell, and more of a place where the activity is imposing on all of its surroundings. Maybe it's the old man in me despite being 30, but I like noisy events to have their own lounges, or the theatre.

Either way it still looked like great fun, so eager to see your Oceania Allura video as I just booked my parents onto the sister ship Vista, fingers crossed!

  4. It is a sparkly new but noisy ship. I would much prefer a cocktail lounge atmosphere in the atrium with jazz playing in the background, not game shows and dance classes. But the cabin color scheme is very calming and appealing compared to many clown colored ones with carpets that make you dizzy to look at. The cove balcony would have been lovely if it it wasn't so noisy. It reminds me of a cabin we once had right below the running track. Apparently, they had a herd of elephants on board that liked to run at 5am or the one right below the sun deck where the night crew dragged what sounded like 1,000 deck chairs along the floor! ( like finger nails on a chalk board each night). I really look forward to your videos as I sit inside on a cold, windy Black Friday in the Mid Atlantic region.

  5. Great video! We were on the Sky Princess last year and while the ship was great, we found the constant noise in the atrium irritating, particularly in the specialty restaurants and the bars located around it. We probably wouldn't go with Princess again. Hope you enjoy your upcoming cruises!

  6. Spectacular job, as always. A beautiful mix of both the ship and the ports. Love your style, humor, and hidden gems of insight.

  7. Funny story. I dated Lauren tewes ex husband John a director in La in the 80's. It was after she got fired for cocaine

  8. Bill, another masterpiece! Thank you for the spectacularly shot and genuinely entertaining review of the Star Princess. That shot of you dining at Love by Britto, complete with the dramatically clenched rose, was peak romance — we think we actually heard a collective 'Aww…' from the internet. 🤣

Also, for the uninitiated: a little insider knowledge from a fellow cruiser: you can actually order escargot every single night on Princess! It's our little, buttery, garlic-soaked secret—just ask nicely, even if it's not on the menu. You're welcome. 😉

  9. Great video. I want to take my first cruise on a large ship. It`s gonna have to be in the mediterranean. Trying to compare cruise lines.

  10. Next time you make a video turn the music 🎵 down and don’t talk so much but all and all you did a great job we will be on that ship soon for 14 days on the 11th floor 🎉food looks very tasty.

  11. There were no avoiding the loud music performed by what seemed to be those who failed the audition round for America’s not got talent.
Having fitness classes in the atrium with the fog horn voice permeating every inch of the bars meant no ability to enjoy a quiet drink.
Entertainment reminded me of a butlins holiday camp circa 1980s
Was it a quality brand ship or a blue collar workers outing.

  12. MÁLAGA-You know the foods good when it's full of Spaniards & there's a queue to get in.🎉
    Thanks for advocating our City❤

  13. We’ve never been on Princess. After watching a few Star Princess videos, including this one, we’re tempted to give her a try. It looks like it gives Royal’s Oasis Class and Icon Class a run for their money!

  14. I cannot imagine how many people will be saved from sleepless nights because of this video Bill. Nice work! As we've stated, the frenetic plaza in the center ruins a lot for us.

  15. Great review. I booked a cove balcony next year. Cabin 6302. Is this going to be far enough from the piazza noise?

  16. After 29 cruises with Princess one of our favourite places on the ship is the International cafe. Lovely for mid morning coffee, afternoon tea and just watching the world go by.

  17. I've cruised on the Sun Princess this past January, and although there was a lot going on in the Piazza, I found it to not be overly noisy in the surrounding areas unless there was Zumba or some loud singer at the time. I would say it's about a 60/40 split with entertainment that may be encroaching on other activities going on at the same time. I think it was no more louder than other Princess ships, but then I go on a cruise never to critique except when there is a certain band or singer who feels there music needs to be able to be heard all over the ship.
