Is this even possible? 24,000 feet of climbing and 25+ Alto Adige wineries in 4 days…

Blending wine and cycling, Madeline and Aldo take on iconic alpine climbs like Passo Mendola while exploring vineyards and wineries along the way. Highlights include a visit to the legendary Pegoretti Bicycles, where custom bikes await us, and learning about native grape varieties like Schiava and Lagrein. It’s a wild ride of incredible wines, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable moments.

Rule #1: don’t drink and ride!

  1. Not sure I’ve enjoyed one of your vids more than this! Fun, beautiful and informative from start to finish. Nicely produced. (loved the 🎧 analogy 😊). Aldo was the perfect partner Madeline. Hope you can find a way to do another trip like this. Taking us along the way you did was the best. 🍷

  2. Sooo cool your vid! Combine sports with wine is really great and not an opposition! Wish you a lot of fun in Alto Adige and nice weather!!!!

  3. No drink and drive – Yup!
"No drink and ride." ? 8:08
In all my years of biking, I can honestly say that's a rule that… I've never really adhered to. 😉
    Edit: Great video!
Edit-edit: Wow! The 'audiophile headphones' vs. 'high-end audio system in a dedicated room' is a great analogy!

  4. This is cooler than cool. This is sub zero… I know the region like a back of my hand, so I suspect u used a car couple of times due to distances between the valleys, but still super impressive 🙂 It looks like my new dream holiday ❤

  5. Thoroughly enjoyable travelogue. Bring back some BARTHENAU VIGNA S. URBANO Pinot Nero Alto, we'll do a tasting!

  6. This is eerie! I was reminded of my road trip from Bolzano to Venice via Verona just last night! Totally missed all these fabulous wines and even Lake Garda! Hope you've got that planned on your tour!

  7. As an ex pro cyclist , I know this frame maker well. Dario will always be remembered. Other great Italian frame makers are Sarto , formigli and Passoni etc. I have raced on Colnago frames for many years. Looks like you had fun. X

  8. Wow, thank you so much for this amazing video! W can’t wait to see more of this content and to have you back in Alto Adige soon!

  9. Now I'm jealous – wine and bike riding, two of my favourite things in this world. And those Pegoretti bikes…
