In this video, we are inviting you on a tour of Pop’s personal wine cellar. We will go over the layout, highlight some of his favorite and most special bottles, discuss cellar organization methods and give sneak peaks into future episodes! Oh- and we also take a peak into his bourbon collection! We also show behind the scenes footage of what it is like to film one of our videos.
Thanks for watching!

hey I’m be I’m BS and Welcome to our
wine seller wait our wine seller welcome
to his wine
seller let’s go inside and take a look
come on in this episode of our poor
decisions we decided to do something
entirely different in the past 2 weeks
we’ve released four videos on high-end
wines like DRC lefit and Screaming Eagle
we’ve even done a feature on the mon ret
Vineyard and after about 25,000 views
we’ve received tons of great comments
and feedback and the most common
question who are you guys and where did
you come from so today we’ll take a peek
behind the curtain we’ll do a tour of
the seller and we’ll explain how the
channel came about we’ll also give you a
sneak peek of future episodes and if you
or anyone you know has a wine seller and
would want to be featured on our Channel
let us know we would love to hear from
you you know one of the comments we
received was that it was Amateur hour
yeah I think that’s pretty Aur you know
that wasn’t really a compliment right no
it’s okay cuz we really are amateurs
what people get so uptight about fine
wine hey just because you collect really
great wine doesn’t mean that you need to
know everything it’s a journey well at
least I know you’re a social media
amateur hey guilty is charge well should
we go ahead and get started with this
seller yeah absolutely let’s go it’s
kind of unusual to have a glass enclosed
wine seller in the middle of your house
yeah I agree but I got to tell you be I
love love the way the wine bottles look
and I just don’t want to hide them I
want to see them every day well you know
what mom thinks of it I know well I
often feel like I’m living in the middle
of a
steakhouse and do you agree well I kind
of like steak houses I think John might
agree with you on
that woo it’s pretty chilly in here I
had to put my vest on it’s a it’s a
constant 55° so what happens if the
cooling unit goes out oh no there are
two units and one will Ser us back up to
the other at all times so each half ton
cooling unit Works to keep the room cool
while the other one is getting fixed
exactly W you know what I bet there
aren’t many viewers who knew that you
were mechanical engineering by training
probably not the only mechanical
engineer from NC State who also has a
makeup Artistry Tik Tok account and who
has a wine YouTube channel with her dad
so what happens if the power goes out oh
no we have a generator for that so even
if there’s a zombie apocalypse our wi is
going to be safe it’s really important
to have your priorities straight before
we start digging in how in the world do
you keep track of all these bottles in
your seller yeah so be I I use seller
tracker um seller tracker is both an
inventory management tool as well as a
online community for wine reviews and so
when I buy something you know whether
it’s at auction or from a distributor I
put that into cell tracker and then when
I get the shipment I then receive it
into cell tracker and then I designate a
bin for them yeah and that’s how I keep
track of it you can usually tell when my
dad has a wine shipment coming because
he gets so excited literally like a kid
on Christmas morning and you use seller
tracker for research and reviews right
yeah I think it’s really a great tool um
I think the uh online community keeps
honest reviews and I think they just
keep it real but how do you know if
someone’s going to manipulate a review
or
not well I I suppose that’s possible and
I think there probably are instances
where that happens but after you get
like 10 or 20 reviews there’s usually a
consensus on the line and when there’s
not that indicates that there’s a lot of
bottle variation um and that’s useful
too if there’s a lot of bottles that are
oxidized or flawed in some other way um
that’s just not something that you would
pick up from wine spectator and wine
Advocate and lastly I think it’s really
useful to see how wines evolve over time
um you know there are wines here that
are 10 20 30 years old and I want to
know when the right time is to open them
and and I feel like there’s no other
better way than to ask people who have
the same Wines in their Sellers and have
tried them do you want to kind of go
over the way out of your wine seller
yeah so on this side of the wine Celler
Which is closest to the kitchen which is
where I’m always coming in I want to put
the wines that I can pick up at any
moment and just open and put them close
to the kitchen and all of these wines
are ready to be consumed now um whether
it’s Italian Spanish French
American champagne it doesn’t really
matter um they should all be ready to go
okay so I can just grab any one I want
and drink from this so
no I feel like we kind of need to talk
about the big bottles he likes big
bottles and he can’t
lie I I do love the big bottles I think
they’re really festive uh they’re are a
lot of fun to open at parties you know
special occasions they also look good in
the Celler maybe there’s one for my
wedding someday there is a wedding uh
bottle for be and she was born in a
really good year for P
out to deal with all these wooden cases
because I feel like it takes up a lot of
walking room this is one of my favorite
things um I love the wood cases that
Bordeaux wines come in um and they also
serve a purpose right so I can stack all
of this wine up against the window I
have no concern about ultraviolet light
this is they’re going to be in darkness
they’re going to be complet complely
still and all of these wines need tons
of
time um and I just love the way they
look yeah they look like wooden boxes to
me all right let’s talk about this side
yeah this is kind of a transition wall
um there are ones here that are clearly
ready to go um but there’s also a bunch
of ones here that need more time so I I
I use this as like a cats all for
everything kind like these drawers how
you can like pull them out I think it’s
kind of a cool thing oh they are so nice
and wait you got to see this okay check
this out be now you’re going to
appreciate how wonderful these are check
that out they’re pretty cool we need a
we need a shot of this so I see some
cists over here let’s talk about it
let’s talk about it they cus is probably
one of those wines that wine critics and
Som
hate the most or at least pretend to
hate um I happen to have a brother who
loves K special selection and he lives
in Norway so he doesn’t really get it
there and then when I travel to Norway I
bring it to him
um K has probably changed a little bit
over the years but it’s one of those
like liquid candy sugary sweet wines
that’s just you’ll see it in every
restaurant menu and quite frankly
kind of tastes good I like it when
you’re in the mood for it oh Marius
there is no doubt with the screw top
that’s a for sure sign that this is
going to be a good bottle and then so if
this is more of a transitional uh wall
this is really where some of the really
high-end wines are some of the
Collectibles that I don’t want to get
into or the wines that need a lot more
time
um yeah if you see me come here and
start picking out wines that usually
means I’m in trouble cuz I shouldn’t be
getting into these wies on a daily basis
okay well this is my favorite section
right here where you have the champagne
the Dom perum that’s my
favorite hey can’t blame her another
segment that I’m really excited about is
you know how we did barin and cream
angle yeah um but one of the ones that I
haven’t had that I’m super excited about
the
skro and I also love 100 Acre I think
100 Acre wines are just really yummy I
got to say these little tiny bottles are
so cute can you what’s the story behind
them yeah so you know how we have the
big bottles in the Celler these are like
the half bottles I just love them too
they basically are two solid glasses of
wine ooh 2005 oh I think we talked about
that earlier yeah we did um and let’s
see Lille
lascas
2003 uh chatur lur 2005 um I also have
the 2009 lur which is still a little
young but yeah I like the little bottles
are just super convenient and um just
fun to open so what would be a situation
where you would open a little bottle
versus a big bottle when I’m all alone
hey I don’t think you should be drinking
when you’re alone oh with a really good
steak you know I love self care it’s
self-care it’s
self-care are the little bottles more
rare than the bigger one bigger ones
yeah they’re they’re harder to um come
across BR but they’re not as valuable
when they become older cuz they don’t
age as
well I I need some energy here what’s
the oldest vintage wine in your
collection you know I just got some old
Madera and I am so excited to try it I
have Madera from
1894 we’re going to try a Madera it’s
literally more than 100 years old and
you can still drink that well yes I
think so so I’ve been dying to ask you
this question if the house was burning
down and you can only grab one bottle of
wine before running out of the house
what bottle would it
be oh that’s a tough question yeah you
know that 1994 Harlin is a special
bottle to me there’s one bottle that I
would probably grab um
yeah I would probably take this and run
with
it
so this is a
1982 Magnum of chor
lur
um I’ve never had
it but I’m hoping it’s going to be
really really special so I would
probably grab this and run as fast as I
could and is that before or after you
realize that I’m safe
I think might be
before we’re planning on doing a couple
episodes on bourbon and whiskey as well
right oh I am so excited about that I
know you have a secret stash somewhere
maybe I’m not even going to pretend like
I don’t know where it is so I know you
keep your good stuff back here she knows
everything so I know that we had the
vanwinkle 12
got the Cy you have the 15 too oh yeah
and you have the 20 do you have any more
or is that it so there is the
23 I don’t have it not yet right not yet
at least opal single CK what’s the story
on that this is such a cool thing so
they take um and when I say they the
Mallen they uh take very special cks and
bottle that particular Cask so all of
those bottles are unique um they call
them exceptional casks um I suppose that
they are exceptional hey B you know how
uh people ask us how do we make these
videos well I think it’s finally time
that we introduce the man behind the
camera the man that makes everything
possible
for watching our
videos so Jeff is actually the the
person who puts everything together
knows how to film knows how to put it
set it up
and without him there’s no show right
nope and the other thing that the
viewers probably need to know is that
after we’re done recording all of our
film we always enjoy the wines together
as a group Jeff is every bit of the wine
lover that we are yeah all right I think
it’s time for us to open a bottle of
wine so let’s just do what’s your goto
wine so our goto wine the wine that Mom
and I open like more often than not is
Alura Cabernet so Frank timura is one of
the Pioneers in Napa Valley in fact I
think he grew up there which not a lot
of Napa wine makers actually grew up
there I think he grew up there he’s made
um cab for at least 30 years or maybe
more we’ll have a link toor’s website
after in the description of course we
don’t have anything to do with them I
actually would like to visit the wiy but
I’ve always bought a ton of Timur caps
and I think it’s a perfect time to
share all right guys what are my
favorite caps
[Music]
cheers guys Cheers Cheers so fun Che
thanks for joining us on the salour
let’s go

Found you on Cellar Tracker! Great cellar and it's nice to see a father-daughter team doing wine content. Can't imagine what your cellar is insured for.
Great video but we still don't know anything about you. I'm guessing you're just a successful business man who has a passion for wine and wanted to share that with his daughter and start a YouTube channel? If you are ever in NJ, you should stop for dinner at the Pluckemin Inn [I'm the sommelier there 🙂 ] We have one of the largest wine lists in the country with over 6,000 references and an inventory of over 50,000 bottles. I would be happy to serve you! 🙂
Wow amazing wines
Great cellar
Where do you live ?
Love your content. Keep giving REGARDS
Skål! I'm super jelly that you can get boxes and boxes of schrader. I'm on the mailing list but they are still hard to get here in Sweden. I'm saving up a few bottles of 2012s (ofc not the old sparky) for a special occation. Really cool seeing your wine cellar!
And they say money can't buy happiness.
I think you have a really nice wine cellar. I want one like that too 🙂 I have three wine cabinets, and a "real" wine cellar in the basement, which, however, gets too hot in the summer (20 degrees Celsius), which is why only wines that can/must be drunk "quickly" are stored there. May I ask if the large bottles in your wine cellar are upright for our sake and put back down when you are done recording? And if not, aren't you afraid that the corks will dry out and the wines will oxygenate too quickly?
How about the beautiful light shining down on the bottles? I have seen up to several Youtube videos (I am happy to link) that shows that even artificial light changes the contents of the bottles significantly (to the worse). Do you turn off the lights (or dim them) when you're done recording?
wish I had the room for a cellar like this. it is gorgeous!!! Cellar tracker is so much better for real wine drinker reviews, but some regions definitely have protectors if you give them a bad review (i.e Spain). Cant wait to see more. makes we want to take a trip down to NC from NJ lol
Fantastic Cellar, great video, the glass wall from the kitchen is unique and a great feature rather than hiding away a passion. Now you mentioned alot of countries the wines are from but left out one known for great reds Australia .. Do you have any Australian wines in the collection
Here it is! Thank you for the amazing cellar tour. It’s as incredible as I imagined it would be. Such an incredible collection – congratulations. Is the ‘94 Harlan Magnum B’s birth year wine and why it’s has a special meaning? 😃 I am on the hunt for a special birth year wine for my two kids as well. Lastly, I absolutely love the dynamic between you too. It’s clear your family, but it speaks volumes to the parenting and upbringing to see a daughter who wants to do things like this with their father. 💙
First of all, you handled the "amateur hour" comment very well. Secondly, you have a fantastic cellar and a beautifull family and the haters are probably just jealous. Most people don't understand how hard it is to be in front of a camera as well. Keep up the Great work and I wish you all the best.
Beautiful cellar and a gem of a YouTube channel! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and wine experiences : )
Great video! My 1100 bottle cellar is passive here in Maine but I share your passion! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7GKyqPREac&t=20s
I’d offer to be featured drinking your wine in that incredible cellar! Wow! Great video!
The cellar is stunning 😍 Excited for the bourbon!!
Until you actually go down the road of designing and building your own wine cellar its hard to appreciate how crazy nice this cellar is lol
Unbelievable collection!
What an amazing cellar, & beautiful home, congrats 🙌🏼 and you’ve stocked it with the best of the best! You’re 💯 correct, drinking wine & collecting wine is a journey, it’s my favorite hobby too, I’m really enjoying your videos 👍🏼 don’t give any value to the “haters” in the comments 😊 🍷 cheers !
Congratz on your collection and wine cellar setup.
I have a couple of years enjoying wine but mostly source cases from what my local shops have available, where is a good and reliable place to buy online by the case?
Thanks!
Hello!
Is there a means of contact besides YouTube comments such as a business email? I have a suggestion for future videos. Thank you!
Amazing video! My dad is a huge wine enthusiast and collector back home in Norway. Did I hear your dad say Skål? 🥂 Keep up the good work, very few channels where we get to see fine wine reviews.
First of all let me say I am now a subscriber. This channel is the perfect mix of education, humor, and pure hedonistic wine! Great content. I sincerely hope you do a video every week. I would love to hear your backstory on how you got into wine.
What on earth do you do for a living?!? Exceptional collection!
what brand wine glasses do u use ?
Insane collection. You guys are on to something big. Looking forward to more educational and entertaining videos.
Great cellar and collection. Congrats for that! Your french needs some work, the daughter’s vocal fry and intonation is kind of annoying and please tell the brother not to fill up his glass that much. Cheers!
my new fav channel!
Love the tour of the wine cellar. How cool to have it in the middle of the house and not regulated to a basement. I could live in a steakhouse!!
You're living the dream. Amazing wine cellar. Thank you for the tour!
From Norway with love. This channel is a super find. Loved the RC nightmare as too many channels just big up the brand. Looking forward to enjoying your journey. Oh and it is super awesome that you list the years of the wines tasted in the description too.
wait where have i seen these guys before 🤔
🍷🍷🎉😍
I need whoever built this to build me one. 😅
Berit is the most talented mechanical engineer I know!!
I like big bottles and I can not lie!!! All jokes aside, what an amazing cellar. Great channel, too. I really enjoy it.
Im gonna have to add you on CT!
I have quite the collection of SC, HE,HA,SE,Dunn,Tig,Sassicia, and too many to mention. Let's have a drink!
And you're a scotch and bourbon drinker! Lol
We must share it all!
Amazing cellar! Wondering, did you get a custom build for the wine cellar (and if you can share who did it, who did?), and what is the capacity of the cellar? My estimate, with the cases lying around would be 4,500 bottles, which…given the quality of lots of these bottles, that's just incredible. Also wondering if there are any maintenances you have to do with the wine cellar, e.g. if the cooling stops working, dust collecting, possible bugs etc.
Looking forward to more tasting vids!
I like your videos. They are a fresh approach to the world of wine. Thank you 🙂
Hi. Please tell me, where is the best online to buy wines? Where are the prices the best? Thanks 🙏🏻
Imponerende vinkjeller!
Lynch Bages, Pontet Canet, Latour… sheeeeesh
Love the content. Tip for the channel to make it more successful; just speak naturally to the camera (don't prepare or roleplay too much) and you'll smash it. I really love this channel because I see people who, as myself, just love wine and want to share it with the world. I've always said I want a wine cellar in the middle of my house – so you guys are living my dream. Looking forward to the rest of your content.
Wonderful video! Pappy 23 is magnifcent, but the current prices are depressing. I open all my whiskeys right away and spray some argon gas in the bottle to keep them fresh. They'll last well over a decade like that.
Great tour guys, I recently pivoted from CellarTracker to InVintory. Not as big a community but really great cellar management features.
Do you worry about light effecting the wine?
Wow, what an impressive collection. Congratulations. Getting to this point is tough.
Amazing videos and keep it up! I love the look of those bigger bottles, such as the Palmer 2015. What size is that? Is it a 6L (Imperial)?
