  1. Like a recent comment, I, too, never heard of John until I stumbled on a 3min YouTube clip…watched a few more, that rendered me to crying and convulsions of laughter, near paralysis 😂😂😂😂…I've saved the full act and a couple others, so that if I'm feeling the need for honest, fat humor, he's my best commiserater. RIP, John, hope you're at God's buffet, making em work hard❤

  2. I really like John Pinette. I especially liked him in The Punisher. I completely love that movie. I replaced my immediate family with the Saint family. I know the movie is unfathomable, but I still like to dream.

  3. Fit lifestyle matters if you want to live to 50.
My family either lives to 90 or is gone by 50.
    The choice is mine.

  4. I've watched him over the years and he's more genius each one. I miss him as much as Rodney. Genuine humor with no strings or gimmicks attached. RiP

  5. His Bed, Bath & Beyond joke was accurate af. The cashiers always had stacks of coupons at the register…if you just make everything 20% off you wouldn't waste money printing useless coupons!

  6. I love self-deprecating humour and I’ve been enjoying Mr Pinette’s comedy that the algorithm, in its wisdom, has been throwing at me recently. Then I read a comment that he has died from an embolism at a relatively young age (in his 50s). So after seeing quite a bit of his work, it started to feel a little sad to me. Sure, he made a career out of denigrating his struggle with overeating and obviously enjoyed making so many people laugh, so it’s not as if I’d prefer he hadn’t had his career but it does start to feel quite sad, to me, when I think about it. A nice guy (from what I can see) getting people to like him by making them laugh at his struggles is definitely poignant. To me, anyway.
Yeah yeah, tears of a clown and all that. But spending your entire life pointing out your faults cannot be good for mental health. I’m probably seeing far too much in this and he was the happiest person alive. Until he wasn’t. And it’s hard to not jump to the conclusion that his obesity was related to his death, so even if he never had a dark thought about himself, it was a waste going so young- to his family and loved ones anyway, who may have preferred a less successful John P who was still with them. But I suppose it could be said he was making lemonade out of the lemons he’d been given.

Ignore what In say, I’m just thinking aloud.

  7. I'm on your side.! Arugula, is not food.! It's bad.! The way that makes it impossible to get a lasting restaurant, with dandelions in anything on the menu.!

  8. it's so strange. 15 years ago i watched punisher and throught "who's the big dude that seems specifically cast for the role" FF his stand up hits YouTube shorts

  9. I always return here from time to time to watch this and the other long videos with him. I'm very hard to get to laugh out loud in front of the computer. With John I still laugh until I cry. And I've seen the clips maybe a hundred times. It's still hysterically funny… ❤❤❤
