I’m fairly certain this bowl of pasta is a crime in at least one country. 🇮🇹🚫
Welcome to Homes Pasta, home to the legendary “Spaghetti of Despair.” They describe the pasta here as “drowning,” which explains why they hand you an apron the moment you sit down.
It’s a massive, indulgent meat cream soup loaded with garlic, chilli, and enough mushrooms to qualify as a botanical garden. The cheese is so perfectly integrated that you aren’t really eating pasta anymore—you’re drinking it. It’s dangerously indulgent, potentially illegal in Italy, and absolutely mandatory to order.
I also tried the “emotionally stable” sibling: the Seafood and Tomato spaghetti. It’s a delicate, herbal contrast to the chaos of the Despair bowl… but after two massive servings, I finally understand why they call it what they do.
The Verdict: I’m addicted. I’ve forgotten how to eat pasta that isn’t submerged in a lake of sauce.
Real taste. Zero filter. Let’s eat.
