  3. The Olde Stone Mill closed in 2009, which was two years after the Kitchen Nightmares episode aired on TV.

In 2009, Dean and Barbara sold The Olde Stone Mill to the DiNapoli family.

After the sale, the restaurant was renamed to DiNapoli’s Stone Mill and shifted more towards Italian food rather than Gordon Ramsay’s steakhouse approach.

DiNapoli’s Stone Mill operated with the Italian concept for over a decade.

However, in late-2022, the restaurant seems to have been sold again.

As of 2023, the property is now operating under the name The Wicked Wolf North

Jacksons closed in September 2006, which is only around six months after the Kitchen Nightmares episode aired on TV.

At that time, it was still doing business as Jacksons, which is the name that Gordon Ramsay gave the restaurant on the show.

For a time, the old Jackson’s Blackpool location was occupied by a cafe named Market Street Diner.

However, that appears to also have closed.
As of 2022, it seems to be occupied by a restaurant named The Frying Squad, which offers “Traditional Fish & Chips”.

  5. The Secret Garden closed because Michel sold the restaurant to a new owner, Danny Margolis of Command Performance Catering.

Michel said he sold the restaurant because he was going through a divorce.

Danny turned the old The Secret Garden restaurant California location into a new restaurant called M on High Street, which still occupies the space as of 2023.

  6. Amy's Baking Company permanently closed on September 1, 2015. Amy Bouzaglo explained that the development stemmed from problems with the building's former landlord, and not the TV series. She also indicated her future career plans included making desserts for a Phoenix-area restaurant group and producing online instructional cooking videos.[12][21] The building that hosted Amy's Baking Company is now host to an Aikido school. The owners moved to California in 2015, and then to Israel in 2018 after Samy's deportation.

  7. Peter's
Unfortunately, the changes made to the restaurant were too late, and the restaurant closed its doors in December of 2008.

After the restaurant closed, its space was taken over by the restaurant next door.

It was revealed in a blog post on Cosa Nostra News that Peter did in fact have mafia connections to the Bonanno family, a discovery that was too hard for the restaurant to come back from.

It makes sense that Peter acted like a mobster then because he really did have connections to the mob!

As of 2022, the old Peter’s Italian Restaurant location has been merged into the space occupied by the Post Office Cafe

  8. Jesus what is the fucking point of narrating everything that is literally going on in the background…

  9. I liked this era in life, where people actively watched experts in a field rip apart people who have a very closed-minded view and can't take criticism… I think it's the other way around now.
