Laura, I absolutely love your recipes. But from an old woman who has been cooking for 60-plus years, please do not use a sharp knife to open your jars! The ring under the edge of the lid is quick, efficient, and a must safer way. Forgive me, but just looking out for one of my favorite ladies in the kitchen!
