This Italian-themed establishment sits atop in Midtown (the plaza) with a lovely balcony view overlooking the recently developed side of Sulaimaniya. The restaurant was so busy with people that I donโ€™t think they need the extra attention from us, but we wanted to try what all the fuss was about ourselves, so we had a seat in the terrace and tried some of their menu.

Itโ€™s a one-page menu focused on their main offerings: appetizers, pasta, and pizza.๐Ÿ• We had one order of each namely the Eggplant Rolls, Spicy Chicken Rigatoni, and Truffle Pizza. The prices were quite affordable for a location like theirs, and I suppose thatโ€™s their catch. The food was just okay – nothing to wow about. The pasta sauce for the rigatoni was decent and the truffle pizza lacked in the usual truffle flavor that we were expecting. Thereโ€™s no free bread or salad unlike in other Italian restaurants but the service was quick. Shoutout to Ms. Arlene for serving us!

Overall, Oulu is patronized for their affordable menu thatโ€™s easy to share (we ate for three persons) and the flair of the city view; that being said, if youโ€™re looking for more flavorful Italian restaurants, there are others that have more to give on that aspect.
