Mr Caruso launched the first Veeno in Manchester in 2013, aiming to share his family’s wines and Italian hospitality with the UK.
He said: “It’s fantastic to see Veeno open its doors in Northallerton and to welcome Chris and Sherryl into the Veeno family.
“When we launched Veeno in 2013, our ambition was to share our family’s Sicilian wines and the Italian tradition of bringing people together over great food and drink.
“To see that vision continuing to grow in towns and cities across the UK is something we’re incredibly proud of.
“Chris and Sherryl have put so much passion and hard work into creating this venue, and we’re confident they’ll make Veeno a much-loved part of the Northallerton community.
“We wish them every success as they begin this new chapter.”
The Mayor of Northallerton, Councillor Andrew Hugill, said: “It’s wonderful to see another new business opening in Northallerton and bringing something different to the town’s hospitality offering.
“I’d like to congratulate Chris and the team on the opening of Veeno and wish them every success.
“It’s a welcome addition to the town, and I’m sure residents and visitors alike will enjoy experiencing what it has to offer.”
