  1. I loved the β€œless ingredients” comment from your lovely wife. The first time my wife and I went to Bavaria we stayed in a typical German hotel. The woman at the front desk told us that there is cakes and coffee at 3:PM every day. My wife immediately thought that she might not be able to fit through the door by the end of the week. But the woman told us that the cake in Germany is made with 30% less sugar than what we were used to in the US. The cakes were wonderful and we certainly didn’t miss the sugar.

  2. It's really fascinating how Italians make even industrial food very tasty. World champions in food! I luckily live on Italian border, where I exclusively shop for food. My favorite store is Tosano, it's only 30km from the border. Best prices, best sales. Last time I bought some cookies from which I did not expect much for 2.5€/1kg. They were all gone in 2 days, both packs, all of my family loved them.

  3. A friend took the other day some cookies from Molino Bianco, they were outstanding, really tasted like real butter. Used to have a taste similar to these in Mexico but they are not using the same quality products, so when I tasted it I had a ratatouille moment πŸ₯Ή
