Blind Tasting No. 7 🍷
I knew it was Italy. 🇮🇹 I just couldn’t quite find my way to the right Sangiovese-dominant appellation. I called Chianti Classico — turns out, this wine was just 30 miles southeast in neighboring Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

I really enjoyed this one. Excellent wine with a long finish and enough structure to make it a great food wine, but still juicy enough to drink on its own. And at $21.98, I think it’s a fantastic value.

are you making a distinction between licorice and fennel flavor or are you just saying the wine didn't taste fennelly ENOUGH for the region you were talking about
