North Italia Nostalgia-Inspired Cocktails
The mixologists at North Italia in Riverton have launched a special “nostalgia-inspired” cocktail menu, running through September 7th.
North Italia is adding a bit of nostalgia to their beverage menu this year with its debut of “Forever Young,” featuring limited-edition drinks that transform nostalgic summer memories into playful, modern cocktails. Think s’mores by the campfire and ice pops on a hot summer day… these nostalgia-inspired cocktails lean into the memories of everyone’s favorite summertime flavors and carefree energy.

These are the nostalgia-inspired summer cocktails:
Available at all North Italia locations nationwide:
Dreamsicle Margarita – casamigos blanco, aperol, orange, vanilla

Capri Punch – nikka vodka, aperol, mango, pineapple, luxardo cherry, fresh lemon

Inspired by the post-game orange slices of youth soccer and timed to the summer’s biggest global sporting stage!

Pretty Bird Expands to Los Angeles
Utah’s Pretty Bird Hot Chicken is spreading its wings and heading west. Chef Viet Pham and his wife, Alexis, are preparing to open Pretty Bird’s first location outside of Utah in Los Angeles’ Westwood Village, near UCLA, in late September.
Pham opened the original Pretty Bird on Regent Street in downtown Salt Lake City in 2018, serving his take on Nashville-style hot chicken. Since then, Pretty Bird has grown to four Utah locations – downtown Salt Lake City, Sugar House, Midvale and Park City. The Los Angeles restaurant will be Pretty Bird’s fifth location and its first venture outside the Beehive State.
The California expansion is also something of a homecoming for Pham and his wife, who both grew up in California. Pham told SFGATE that bringing the restaurant concept they built in Utah back to California feels like coming “full circle.”
