We all have those go-to comfort spots—the restaurants that consistently hit the spot every single time, no matter what you’re craving. For Italian food lovers in the Philippines, Cibo has been that place for nearly three decades.
To mark its 29th anniversary, Cibo is bringing back nostalgia with a special promotional deal that transports diners straight back to its opening year in 1997.
“Long before today’s favorites, these were the dishes that welcomed Cibo’s very first guests,” the restaurant wrote. “Classics like Penne al Telefono, Tagliata di Manzo, Linguine al Nero, Pappa al Pomodoro, and Tiramisù di Marghi helped shape the flavors that made Cibo what it is today.”
Dine-in guests with a minimum spend of P1,997 can order one item from Cibo’s original 1997 menu for just P29.
“Don’t miss this chance to relive the flavors that started it all,” Cibo said.
You can order your favorites for just P29 on Aug. 17-20 at all Cibo stores. Take note though that the promo is not valid during holidays.
Cibo, founded by the late Chef Margarita Forés, opened its first branch in 1997 along the second-floor walkway connecting Landmark and Glorietta 3, featuring an open-kitchen design. A year later, it moved to a bigger space at Glorietta 4.
