The Culver City event features limited-edition cookies crafted with the flavors of the Pasta Sisters dishes.

By Dolores Quintana

Lei’d Cookies will be part of the Pasta Sisters and the Helms Design District’s Ferragosto event on Saturday. In celebration of Ferragosto and all things Italian, the popular cookie shop has created new cookie flavors in collaboration with the Pasta Sisters that combine Italian cuisine and the deliciousness of Lei’d’s cookies. One of the cookies includes the Pasta Sisters’ actual pesto and Cacio e Pepe.

The combinations are not what you would expect, but sound delicious just the same. This is how Lei’d Cookies’ Leilani Terris describes each of the cookies:

Pesto Cacio e Pepe Cookie

An unexpected collaboration with Pasta Sisters, this cookie blurs the line between savory and sweet. Built on the bold, comforting flavors of their house-made pesto and signature Cacio e Pepe, it delivers a rich, herbaceous, peppery bite that challenges expectations while celebrating two beloved Italian classics in an entirely new way.

Tomato Confetti Cookie

A celebration of peak summer tomatoes in cookie form. Our savory Parmesan cookie is studded with sun-dried tomatoes, finished with vibrant tomato confetti, and topped with a lightly sweet goat cheese mascarpone. Bright, savory, and unexpectedly balanced, it’s a playful reimagining of one of summer’s most iconic ingredients.

Italian Charcuterie Cookie

Inspired by the flavors of an Italian aperitivo board, this pistachio-orange cookie is layered with prosciutto, whipped sweet goat cheese mascarpone, and finished with a drizzle of aged balsamic glaze. Sweet, salty, creamy, and citrusy in every bite, it transforms a classic charcuterie experience into an unforgettable dessert.

The event starts at 1:00 p.m. at the Helms Design District. Parking is available in the two lots on the Helms’ site, and there are additional lots across the street. Don’t miss out on the event and this one-of-a-kind collaboration.
