  1. Did my son approve of my version of his recipe? 🤔

My son @yehuda.best is always grilling the most incredible skirt steak tacos, so this time I borrowed his marinade and turned it into the easiest sheet pan steak fajitas. I could not believe this story he gave me at the end 😮

I’m also completely obsessed with this elevated wire rack sheet pan. The vegetables roast underneath while the steak cooks on top, so every single drop of those flavorful juices drips right into the peppers and onions. It’s honestly one of my favorite kitchen tools lately, and I already have so many more recipe ideas for it!

Check out my bio for the link to my Amazon storefront. There you can find this incredible pan I used for this recipe.

    Marinated Skirt Steak

    • About 2 lbs skirt steak
    • 2–3 jalapeños, chopped (or less, or omit)
    • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
    • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
    • ¼ cup olive oil
    • 2 tsp paprika
    • 1–2 tsp onion powder
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 2 tsp salt
    • Juice of 2 limes
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • Juice of 1 orange

    Fajita Vegetables

    • 1 large onion, sliced
    • Green, red & yellow bell peppers, sliced
    • ¼–⅓ cup olive or avocado oil
    • 2–3 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tbsp paprika
    • 2 tsp cumin
    • 2 tsp garlic powder

    Homemade Guacamole

    • 3 ripe avocados
    • ½ onion, finely chopped
    • 1 serrano pepper (optional)
    • ½ bunch cilantro, chopped
    • Juice of 1–2 limes
    • Salt, to taste

    • Tortillas of your choice

    Instructions

Marinate the skirt steak in a large zip-top bag with all the marinade ingredients for at least 2 hours (4–6 hours is even better).

Add the sliced onions and peppers to your sheet pan. Toss with the oil and seasonings. Place the elevated wire rack over the vegetables, then lay the skirt steak on top.

Bake at 375°F for 25–30 minutes, then broil for about 5 minutes if you’d like extra color.

While everything cooks, prepare the guacamole by mixing all the ingredients together.

Slice the cooked steak into thin strips, toss it with the roasted vegetables, then fill warm tortillas with guacamole and the steak fajita mixture. Finish with fresh cilantro and enjoy!

  2. You could clip your hair before you start, there is no way to know how much hair there is in the food, its embarrassing if your guests pull out long shampoo/chemically treated hair from their mouths after taking their bites and finding out that nasty stuff is already in their mouth whoa. Its a diff thing if you're preparing for the Oscars by clipping your hair in the video, but in today's time, I feel followers only wanna know the recipe than which movie star with how much long hair is making the food. Otherwise the food looks scrumptious!!!
