For me, an Italian summer isn’t about rushing from one place to the next. It’s about slowing down enough to enjoy the little things: shopping at local markets, eating sun-ripened tomatoes, swimming in crystal clear water, lingering over long lunches, sketching everything I see, and ending the day with an aperitivo as the sun goes down.
After spending so much time travelling through Italy, I’ve realised this slower way of living is what I love most. Less rushing, more living. More fresh food, beautiful places, and moments worth remembering.
