Worked in a Chicagoland pizzeria twenty years ago. Haven't made a pizza like this since. Got a pizza steel earlier this week, made the dough and sauce a few days ahead, prepped, assembled, and baked everything off yesterday. Came out exceptionally well imo. Pizza One: pepperoni + hot honey, w/ fresh chives from the garden added after baking. Pizza Two: italian sausage + giardiniera, w/ fresh garden basil added after baking. 🤌
