Took mom and dad to the REAL Little Italy of New York, in the Bronx for lunch. We went to Mike’s Deli in Arthur Avenue Retail Market for some Italian sandwiches. Then, went to Casa Della Mozzarella for the best Mozzarella in New York. Their Mozzarella was indeed so creamy and delicious. We tried “The Casa” (prosciutto, mozzarella, sun dried peppers, balsamic glaze on ciabatta bread) and Burrata (burrata, prosciutto, sun drie dpeppers, stracciatella, arugual, balsamic glaze). Then, headed to Cosenza’s Fish Market to get some fish for dinner. There, we randomly ran into the Crazy (in a good way) Italian @giovannipaolony who gave us a warm Italian New Yorker welcome.

I could never enjoy a sandwich in the US. Everytime I asked them for less meat and fillings, they would laugh and continue to like them on. There is no need for that amount of meat or fillings in a sandwich. You shouldn't have to dislocate your jaw to eat a sandwich. The best thing to do is buy the stuff separately and make the sandwich yourself.
