HOUSE TOUR | A Traditional South Carolina Home Bursting with Color

On today’s episode of Homeworthy, interior designer Rebecca Bridges takes us inside her gorgeous Colonial home in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Rebecca and her husband purchased the property 12 years ago and embarked on a two-year renovation journey to craft the ideal abode for their three energetic boys. Vibrant and lively, Rebecca fearlessly infused her design with a feminine flair, adorning it with playful patterns and shades of pink. Drawing inspiration from the remarkable women in her life, Rebecca embellished each room with cherished family heirlooms, nostalgic pieces from her own childhood and voyages, and heartwarming artwork made by her children. Enjoy!

  1. Comfortable Beautiful home. Love the colors ,wallpaper and the textiles. It gave me a lot of great ideas for my home. Love your show. Thank you

  2. Very nice home, traditional but with modern fabrics and art works. Definitely a home, not just a house.

  3. Rebecca, I grew up in Great Falls and your brother Casey was one of my closest friends. I moved away when you were little, but I’ve kept up with your mom. I’m so proud of you two! Your home is amazing and I will continue to watch your journey!

  4. I would love to see this house in person. Love the colorful details. Beautiful.

  5. I love her style so much. Her fabrics, wallpaper and paintings are to die for, and I adore the colours she's used. Each room feels like a work of art, and a wonderful surprise.

  6. I just jumped and exclaimed when I saw the lamps on the wall in your kitchen. I have had ONE just like it for decades, which I used as a piano lamp for years. Decided to pass it along to a consignment shop about a year ago, because (at that time) I decided it looked dated. About two weeks after delivering it, the owner called me to say, ‘I think you may want to reconsider selling it, at least here.’ She had done research to help decide how to price it and discovered one in Florida (I’m in small town Southern Oregon) that was priced VERY HIGH. She suggest I sell it on ebay or contact the dealer in FL. I decided to keep it— now trying to figure out how to post a photo of it on this post. It may show up on a separate comment! I love your creative way to make your lamps pop in the kitchen !

  7. ❤😊 this is all so wonderful and beautiful but the Bible says that you can gain the whole world and lose your soul what good is it but do you have Jesus Christ then you will receive good things but do you want them in this life or the life to come I'd rather have it in the Life to come this way it will be eternal and forever about you

  8. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It is gorgeous and comfortable and I loved the tour.❤

  9. How lovely and such a sweet little town that I am very familiar with..I am an identical twin and when I heard that this lovely lady had twins plus a bonus older boy it just melted my heart, another favorite video…🧡💛🍂💛🧡

  10. From one South Carolina girl to another, I absolutely love every single inch of your home! Color, pattern, and special family mementoes make my heart happy, and your home sings with these. Bravo!!

  11. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home and exquisite design. My favorite part of the home tour is the great-grandmother's Chester drawers and the Staffordshire Dogs. Family heirlooms will continue a tradition that will definitely be passed down to the next generation. Beautiful family home!

  12. I cannot stand the leopard print chargers under the China. The China is so pretty and they just take away from the beauty.

  13. Beautiful woman, beautiful home. Very enjoyable and informative video. Love the tip about the lampshade trim!!!

  14. ❤ recently I have been semi decorating my den with bits and pieces that remind me of our Grandfather's bungalow where we spent our summers. Our dadwas a WWII merchant marine and husband's father was in the Navy, as was my son. Once I brought in a small glass covered rowboat, Husband said that was the last piece. 😅. I painted his portrait, a lionfish and a seascape. I also added his mothers photo once she passed. How can I incorporate more of his life and not loose mine? Thank you.
