Pallet Wood Dining Table

I build a farmhouse style dining table out of 52 old pallets. This was my first time working with pallet wood. The end grain butcher block style top is 3″ thick, 3′ wide by 6′ long and the trestle base is all mortise and tenon joinery. This was quite the project and at the end of the build, I share how long everything took and all the extra costs associated with working with “free” wood. I hope you enjoy, let me know your thoughts in the comments and please get yourself subscribed to the channel.

P.S. At the very end, I say I’m going to show some final pics and then fail to include them in the video. Apologies! 🙂

  1. Титанический труд! показатель того, что может сделать настоящий мужчина для своей любимой женщины! Это бесценно!

  2. I can't believe it Ryan, that's outstanding craftsmanship of a dining-room table excellent job! I'm OK with using my hands with wood designs but your a craftsmanship artist! Jim Greszczuk

  3. Apart from the awesome table you could start you own Clamp hire company hehe great work sir!! x

  4. Im going to say roughly 12 hours, from start to finish, give or take an hour, if you use a lacker, rather then stain, or paint

  5. I feel like i got Tetanus and splinters just from watching this. Incredlble work as usual, Ryan!

  6. 9 days of not stop work! Dang a week's worth of work and I'll just buy a 2k table and save my self more than a few hours of work. Lol turned out amazing though. Really puts into perspective the amount of work that goes into this type of project

  7. That's perfect from my point of view and if you can top that am going to start a new era 100% wood work for myself yes

  8. Man 😮. I hope everyone that sits at this table will appreciate the time and effort it took. I like woodworking but if I told my wife I was going to take a week + to build a table she'd say nvm. The imperfections are the signature. Slow clap in appreciation to you sir! Thank you.

  9. I have infinity respect of how much effort and energy you have put into this project. I just think the result doesnt stand in relation to the amount of work, energty, time and money you have put into this. but again respect, respect, respect!

  10. Hello Ryan 🙋‍♂️.

    Hope you are good !!

    Couple of observations:

You took a lot of your scrap to the dump
and paid for the privilege. Why 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Could it not be sold as “fire 🔥 wood”
at your local car boot sale ??

The bags of sawdust – could also be bagged
and sold cheaply – as a base for pets cages at your car boot sale !!

They sawdust also if mixed and dried can be sold as “bricks” for people who have a wood 🪵 burner at their home 🏠 or workshop,
or made into wood burning pellets !!

The pallets that you got for free – why are not
ripping them, sizing, and bundling them up
in packs to sell as picket fences at your local car boot sale ??
You have the space in your workshop and all the tools to easily run through countless posts !!

    Thanks 🙏
    James ✌️🫶
