Ciao! 💚🌳 Welcome to our country home in Italy! Is this the end of the Summer? Not yet perhaps but the first rainy days are coming, a bit of fog as well and cool mornings here in our countryside home. We keep on collecting products from our garden (lavender, figs, hazelnuts, vegetables), I spend a great amount of time in the garden and in the kitchen: this time a delicious vegetarian menu with peppers, a simple fresh lunch with melon, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese and last but not least a delicious tart with the jam from our June apricots. Can’t wait for Autumn to come!

E’ finita l’estate? Non ancora forse ma stanno cominciando ad arrivare le prime giornate piovose, un po’ di nebbia e mattinate fresche qui nella nostra casa in campagna. Continuiamo a raccogliere i prodotti del nostro giardino (lavanda, fichi, nocciole, ortaggi), trascorro tanto tempo in giardino e in cucina: questa volta un delizioso menu vegetariano con peperoni, un semplice pranzo fresco con pomodori, melone e mozzarella ed infine una deliziosa crostata fatta con la marmellata delle nostre albicocche di giugno. Non vedo l’ora che arrivi l’autunno!

I have the same morning glories in my balcony, and I had cucumbers too, but unfortunately they got really moldy, I think some fungi attacjed them. Yours look so lush 🙂 Amazing!

That's a great way to eat peppers. All the beautiful colors on your table, your meals look so fresh and delicious and that apricot pie, oh wow. Harvest time, it's such a busy period.
