Adding to Chiang Mai’s hip vibes are organic farms (including Strawberry farms), rice paddies, chic cafes and coffee spots, nested between wild flowers and winding mountain road.
In this episode we visit the picturesque peak of Mon Jam, overlooking valleys, camp sites, hill tops and gardens. We go glamping with elephants at Chai Lai Orchid, a foundation and resort committed to fighting human trafficking, rehabilitating elephants and grooming young indigenous women to become leaders.
We stay a weekend at Panviman Chiang Mai Resort and Spa nestled in the mountains of Mae Rim. We also sip on some award winning wine at Neri Tenuta, where wine maker and artist Maximiliano Neri hosted us to a charming night with his knowledge of wine and pronounced Italian accent.
