A third-generation Italian-American family just opened a restaurant in Hamburg and the community is already lining up!
Desiderio’s Italian Restaurant is now open at 61 Buffalo Street in the village of Hamburg.
Brothers Rob and Tommy bring family recipes passed down from their father and uncle, plus formal culinary training and Tommy’s time cooking in Italy. The focus is traditional low-and-slow Italian cooking.
Menu highlights include orecchiette with homemade sausage and rapini, and pasta Genovese with slow-roasted beef and onions.
