  1. I've been making a very similar spaghetti for years, I had no idea it was called "dirty spaghetti." lol

  2. I'm not eating a white man's spaghetti thank you….the only thing missing is cutup hotdogs and BBQ sauce. YUCK!!!

  3. I do similar pasta often. At first I have not boiled pasta in a large pot since around age 17. Takes too long, in small amount of water it is ready much faster, all the starches that are released to the water remain on the pot making the sauce thicker, creamier. Sometimes I make it Alfredo sauce by adding cream and some cheese, either feta or parmesano, sometimes I add tomato sauce or just tomato paste. By altering the spices the flavor location goes around the world. I boil the pasta uncovered so all extra water is absorbed. Most of all, there is only one pot to wash, no huge pasta pot and a frying pan. And if one wants large amount it is easy to make in an instant pot.

  4. I cannot help notice that you add a couple of ingrediemts in two forms; fresh diced and dried.

  5. I'm totally making this🍝 yummy 😋 Love Chef John! Been watching him for over 15 years ❤️

  6. I followed his recipe, turned out really good. So good that I made a second batch to take lunches for work.

  7. This inspired me to make Southern style red beans and sausage pasta. Garlic cornbread. Monto beine

  8. This looks delicious 😋. I added a little cumin to my lasagna and it was delicious too. My son recommended me to try it and I have to admit that it did add to the flavor profile in a good way.

  9. somehow the text captioning here makes Chef John's dry humor hit even harder than usual 😭

  10. That spaghetti looks suspiciously short, I suspect an unspeakable pasta crime was committed off-camera, for shame.
