Hi Bianca, be happ not to use gas, its ways more expensive than electricity. I just got a pompa di calore from aira and will now only use electricity.
May be you consider installing a solar plant, there are also possibilities to rent them. On the middle term this will help you to safe on electricity.
This was very helpful. Great intel about electric companies and leasing vs. owning a car!
Good woman eating plenty of meat.
Hello Sweetie! Thank you so much for this …
Good to know about these information. Certainly, it's very, very helpful.
Thank you, Bianca.
As an Italian, I didn't knew that in Sardinia there is no methane gas network. Off course, this raises the electric bills a lot. Here in Rome (in a normal 2 bedrooms apartment) I can get by with 200 euros a month for all the home utilities (130 for condo – which includes heating in the winter and water but also cleaning services for the building and insurance, 50 for electricity, 20 for gas and 16 for fiber). For heating, wouldn't a pellet stove be more convenient, or would be more an hassle to install and maintain in your current setup?
Why shouldn't Italy have regulations about gas? Of course there are. If they are followed this is another issue
For anyone living in Italy or thinking about it — what’s been your biggest cost surprise?
This was a real eye opener Bianca. Island life can be quite expensive. Food bill for me is the same and I have 3 dogs to feed. In my part of Portugal, electricity + water monthly is €70, big difference. Summer hikes that a bit. My big spend is buying antiques/knick knacks to restore😮. You are living the good life without going without❤.
I think your electricity bill is so high. You shoud study to put a solar panel. A pellet stove would be great for you during winter. Even with the maintainance would be cheaper that air conditioner used with electricity.
Hello Bianca, can you share the car rental/ lease rental information. I’m planing on moving to Italy in the next year but can’t buy a car since you have to be a resident. Thanks
New to your website, would like to know the house prices. 2 bedrooms, about 100~120 square meters.
Choose Octopus or Sorgenia. They are cheaper and have good customer service service.
Hello it good for family
