It's amazing how something so simple can taste so incredibly delicious! My sauce had a week to meld and you can see it made all the difference. I sliced up four cloves of garlic for the toppings. I had to cancel visits from guests this week as I came down with a cold yesterday. It was just the right thing to do. They were disappointed when they saw the pics. Fresh sliced garlic, (my own) tomato sauce and a spiral of EVOO. Finished with fresh grated Romano!
2 minutes max temp bake + 3.5 minutes high broil = 5.5 minutes total bake time.
