Centuries later, Sensei Wu assembled a team of four young ninja—Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane—to retrieve the Golden Weapons and protect Ninjago. Each ninja mastered a unique elemental power: Fire, Lightning, Earth, and Ice, respectively. They were later joined by Lloyd, Garmadon's son, who was destined to become the Green Ninja and bring balance to the realm. Kai's sister, Nya, also became a vital member of the team, eventually mastering the element of Water. Throughout their adventures, the ninja faced numerous threats, including the Serpentine, the Overlord, and the Oni, each challenging their unity and strength. They participated in the Tournament of Elements, battled the digital menace of the Nindroids, and confronted the resurrected Lord Garmadon, now devoid of his former humanity. In the "March of the Oni," the ninja, along with Garmadon, united to stop the Oni invasion, leading to a temporary alliance. Following these events, the realms merged into a chaotic new world in "Ninjago: Dragons Rising." Lloyd, now a seasoned Spinjitzu Master, mentored a new generation of heroes to find Elemental Dragons, powerful beings essential to restoring balance. This series introduced fresh characters and challenges, expanding the Ninjago universe.
