Hidden among the rolling vineyards of the Italian countryside stands a remarkable abandoned palace that feels frozen in time. As Luke and I step inside, we discover room after room filled with photographs, documents, books, and personal belongings, almost as if the family simply walked away and never returned. The deeper we explore, the more pieces of the puzzle begin to appear, revealing the fascinating lives of the people who once called this place home.
Through the documents we uncovered and the research that followed, an incredible story slowly unfolded. The palace belonged to Luciano Castellani, a respected pharmacist and medical researcher whose work earned him multiple awards and recognition throughout the region. But behind his success stood his wife Emma, who quietly contributed to much of the research carried out here. While history mostly remembered Luciano’s name, the documents inside the palace reveal a deeper truth: this remarkable legacy was built by two people working side by side.

You can try canned food if the canned is intact not bulging or dented. But eating food preserved in a glas like jam or vegetable could be death sentence it has not been preserved with high temperatures and could hold many really dangerous things. This is what I have worked with for many years.

The problem is we are left with a huge mystery !! Where are the descendants /heirs ? Beyond belief these properties worth literally millions of EURO are abandoned . A lot of the super rich would just jump at the chance to buy an estate like this .

Metal cabinets in the US were about a 1950's "upgrade. You rarely find them anymore unless they are a remanent of an earlier age.
Rule of thumb on home canned goods safety is 1 year, no more than 2.
The David Brown tractor was English. David Brown went on to buy Aston-Martin. All the cars after the bought the company and still are named after him. DB5, DB6 etc. There are still a few of these around. They are old and quite rare. Great video as always.

Amazing to see these huge wine barrels in the basement. – And – very interesting and special to see were the pharmaceutical items and this enormous amount of medicine and chemical bottles. – There were also beautiful pieces of antique furniture visible in some of the rooms. – As usual I loved listening to the conversation between you and Luke, who again did an excellent job with his camera. – Dear Lesley your explore videos are always so enjoyable and pleasant to watch!
