I love all of the above. So todayโs pairing is two of my favorite things shared. Nebbiolo and Coco and the Bean.
Wine: Diego Conterno Nebbiolo DโAlba – (Baluma) from Piedmont, Italy. So yes yum!!
That first whiff of the cork as it popped, I knew I was in. The juice literally squirting out of the bottle. Delicious! ๐ท
Perfumed (so pretty) with the most delicious and recognizable aromas of Nebbiolo from this region. Perfumed with violets, cherries, leathery goodness and medium tannins, that became more apparent and appreciated over time. Ripe and fragrant, fresh and fruity. Gosh itโs been too long between Nebbs for me. Sitting sweetly at around $45 Iโll definitely be buying this again. ๐๐๐
Pairing this for the lovers, it just had to be the moody – Killing Time by Coco And The Bean. (Insert Esthers happy face) โบ๏ธ
Coco & the Bean are a trip hop group from the mid 90โs. Coco and the Bean began their journey in Edinburgh, Scotland producers Les Hodge and Taf McLaren who teamed up in 1991. Although it wasnโt till 95โ they completed the group when meeting with vocalist, Gwen Esty from Yorkshire. Making this pairing for me today and those tuning in an absolute pleasure.
