Ciao@! Two Italian Wine Events here at Solare to kick-off 2026.
First, this Thursday January 15, if you’re available, Tommy created a fun $28 wine tasting of 4 Italian wines he loves.
It’s very simple and casual: Just make a reservation anytime between 5:30pm and 8pm this Thursday and Tommy is here to present and explain all the wines to you. $28 for 4 wines.
Chef Denice teamed up with Tommy to design a matching 4-course menu, but that is completely optional. Ordering from the menu is great too.

Second, we have an Italian Wine Dinner on Tuesday, January 20. It is an “Evening in Emilia-Romagna” – the gastronomic capital of Italy!
And we have two special guests: Elisa and Michele Borelli – the founders and owners of Balsamico Kitchen in Imperial Beach.
Elisa and Michele were born & raised in the classic city of Modena in Emilia-Romagna. Chef Michele is joining Chef Denice in the kitchen to create regional pasta dishes and more. Collaboration!
We are are pouring wines from two great estates from this exact area of Italy: Randi Vini (!!) and Tenuta Mara.
