For wine lovers it’s hard to argue with a stunning Italian wine. We just sampled the 2019 Zenato Valpolicella Ripassa (14.0%) wine which is a blend of 85% Corvina, 10% Rondinella & 5% Oseleta grape varietals. Bought from Willow Park Wines for $36 Cdn.
Tasting notes: medium to full bodied with flavors of dark fruits, blackberries & black cherries. Sweetness is low, acidity is moderate/low & tannins are smooth. Lesser notes of cocoa, violets, plums, spice & oak.
