I had a pesto day!
Have these basil and arugula pesto with some pasta, add in some salad (drop teaspoonfuls on the too), and bake with salmon fillet(put on the top of salmon fillet). I also love to use as spread for a sandwich.
Basil pesto ;
pine nuts 40g
parmesan cheese 40g
basil leaves 100g
Olive oil 1/2 cup (around 125ml)
1 garlic clove
salt and pepper to taste
optional ; one or two ice cubes ( this helps keeping the color green)
Arugula pesto ;
slivered almonds 40g
parmesan cheese 40g
arugula leaves 70g
1 garlic clove
grapeseed oil 1/3 cup
salt and pepper to taste
