  1. Loved the recipe, i gave it a go and it came out amazing. Did run out of chicken stock but I improvised with water and chicken bouillon.

  2. Few mistakes- rice needs to be stirring up all the time, don't use the lid, the rice looks overcooked .Never ever cook risotto after parmesan is added. Parmesan and butter must be added when rice is ready ,take the pan away from the heat. and stir very well. Also never use the brown onion , only shallots or spring onion. Very well showing how to add the stock and wine. Wine must be dry i like the Sauvignon Blanc .

  3. Don’t forget celery! Diced onion and celery
I’m actually not a huge fan but wouldn’t make risotto without it 😉

  4. The kitchen I work in we do this. Except in a big ahh stock pot lol. And stock poured in by like the gallon lol

  5. I'm currently making this with Japanese white rice, apple cider vinegar, rip off craft parmesan cheese, and Argo corn startch. No onions are being used btw

  6. I love risotto and your video has given me the inspiration to give making it myself a go.

How about showing me how to cut an onion properly please 🙏 😊

  7. I don’t have short grain rice so ima do it poor people style and use a rice cooker with white rice and just mix it with the veggies and wine later

  8. I have noticed no rissoto video wash their Rice , does anyone wash their rice before putting it in the pan

  9. So it's just mushy rice with butter, stock, and wine? This is one of those pretentious dishes.

  10. This person really knows very little about cooking risotto or I think anything in general. No one that knows how to make the dish would ever put those giant chunks of onion in. Risotto needs to be light and mild and everything should dissolve together.

The last thing you want is a wad of onion or garlic in your mouth. If you can't properly mince use a cheese grater.

And yes, the other comment is correct this knife is horribly dull.
