With this video and the other that I’ve seen for Cafe Sitaly, he is NOT going to the good Delaware spots, who is informing him 😆 We Delawareans collectively consider Grottos to be crappy pizza you eat when you are drunk. And yes, their flagship location is in Rehoboth Beach. It is certainly “Boardwalk Pizza”. He should check out Luigi's Cafe Pizza & Pasta. Although, I’ve never had a cheese slice. Everything else I’ve had there is amazing. Grandmas Pie is to die for

Grotto pizza is acquired taste I hate it. Very sweet tangy sauce. Some people love it tho.

Grotto is definitely better than Pizza Hut/Dominos/Papa Johns. I was expecting a 6.5 from Prez, but respect the 7.4, as that’s probably what I’d give it.

Grotto Pizza started in Harveys Lake Pennsylvania not in Delaware
went to paesans in Latham NY for the first time since Portnoy visited 3 years ago. same pizza I used to get went up in price $9. $33 and change for a pizza. This guy is a curse I noticed the other joint in my area he gave the highest score has pizzas near $40. Pray he doesn't go to your favorite spots they all jack up the prices after they see increased business
I know it looks like a football pie, but it hits different. They use a mild cheddar cheese with a sweet sauce.
Wasting your time at grotto
For people saying that he should be going back to his old school rating system, imagine if you knew that you had the power to make or break a business. I think most of us, unless you're a complete piece of shit, would find it really difficult to give someone a bad score and ruin their livelihood. He knows how much influence he has, and for better or worse, he is trying to do good with it for small businesses. And if you cant tell how good a pizza is just by looking it this many years in, idk what you've been watching.

Grotto is a chain and it's trash Dave plenty of places on the actual Eastern shore that have legit pizza shops come down do a cycle with stops in Easton/Rusticana, Cambridge/Ava's (my fav), Salisbury has a few , Delmar/Delmar Pizza, Ocean City/ Dough Rollers and Lombardi's and Albertinos and Ponzettis, Laurel/Laurel Pizzeria, Seaford/Sal's and Slingers, Millsboro/Pizza King

For the beach it’s a 6.4 and elsewhere it’s 5.9. Too generous.
Pomodoros in Bethany Beach, DE is one of the top pizzas in Delaware. Gotta check them out when they open again next season. I GUARANTEE that you will not be disappointed.
