  1. Prosecco Heck yeah!! I'm currently in Albania, not far from Italy, and on New Year's Eve I'm drinking Prosecco!! 😊

  2. Freixenet is excellent. Easily the best sparkling wine I’ve had in my life. Not exactly cheap but well worth the price for a special occasion

  3. Honestly I can't find any Cava or Prosecco that has that yeasty breast flavor Champagne has, but if you want bubbles on a budget Segura Viudas Cava is unbeatable at $10.

  4. If it has to be sparkling wine, I prefer a nice glass of chilled Moscato. Tonight, in honor of the bitterly cold weather, I'll be savoring a cozy mug of peach tea laced with brandy as I watch old movies.

  5. I’m just drinking my favorite wine because it’ll still get me drunk. Wisdom.

  6. You forgot California champagne. Yes that is a thing because we can legally call our sparkling wine champagne. After world war I the treaties of Versailles stipulated that only barclayne wine from the Champaign area of France could be called champagne. The American government particularly the Senate did not like the treaties of our size and refused to sign it. Since we are not assigning member of the treaties of Versailles we are not by law impacted by its stipulations. We can call any sparkling wine champagne if we want but we generally don't but because California champagne is from like the 1800s we decided to allow them to keep doing it. And that's how you can buy champagne from California that is called champagne.
