Type-perfect Verdicchio with a mouth-watering zinger of a finish.
Agricola Tenuta Colpaola Verdicchio is a dry white wine from Marche, Italy. It’s 100% Verdicchio with 13.5% abv.

The Porcarelli family have owned the Tenuta Colpaola estate in the Marche wine region since the 1970s and have become famed for their Verdicchio wines. After supplying the local co-operative, the family began to bottle their own wines in 2013. Their grapes are grown 650m above sea level on east-facing vineyards, organically farmed, and surrounded by beautiful woodland. Made with minimal intervention and simply fermented in stainless steel, this is pure Verdicchio: floral, fruity and herby. The finish is saline and fresh with bittersweet grapefruit and lemon peel notes, which makes this wine a glorious partner with food or to sip chilled on a summer’s day.
so the second wine we have for you this month uh we’re actually going to Italy which is a little unusual for us however we are in one of the more off the beaten path regions don’t worry we are visiting a region called Vio de matela which is the kind of less known vidico docg from Italy you may be more familiar with Vio de Castell D Jesse it’s not too far away little bit further in land on valleys going east to west rather than north to south so we get a little bit more protection from the winds and the Bree that can damage the vines we’ve got a lovely fresh lighter approachable style of wine here as well made with the vidico grape and um tanut poer the winery have done a really good job in making a very finessed and Elegant Style white wine it’s another one that I don’t think you need to worry too much about a perfect food pairing for it’s one you can enjoy as a lovely appar of teeth on a nice Summer’s Day
