A New Jersey couple has come forward after a dining experience at Maggiano’s Little Italy at the Pointe Orlando location. Dorothy Moody and her husband Colin O’Hanlon have accused the restaurant of practicing segregated seating.
Sometimes being offended is as cringe as the perceived offense. Seen this seating accidentally happen by just the turnover of the tables in various sections. I have worked in restaurants and there is an entire demographic of customers who complain about everything. Want drinks and food free, every time they come in the door. So….IDK what to think about this story.
Would like a quite table please… *We won't put you in back with all those who would yell in movie theater, has loud way of talking & laugh at anyone in trouble or with issues. We all know those types who yell to onscreen character ready to open door- 'Yo N-Word, Watch Out'!
The guy looks White and maybe you’re just crazy. You can’t help the order in which people come in or leave. You’re sat down at the next available table.
The husband said whats wrong meaning he is cool with being around blacks away from his own… She had a problem because she wants to be around white people where she thinks is better… Reason why she has a white guy! So it was about her getting away from her people…. I love it!
I’m going to tell you something! I’m Latino, and black, and me and my girlfriend always visit maggiano’s every time we go to Orlando on vacation, and there is no way they are in any way racist. They are one of the best restaurants in Orlando. These couple are race batting to get attention or a free meal.
Wow, I just reserved my 44th birthday at Jacksonville location. This breaks my heart as the dishes are priced as an upscale restaurant I don't trust easily 😔
Notice the white husband not only said He didn't see it? but did no talking during the whole interview? This is the benefit of sticking with your own kind? because A black man would have understood the situation A lot quicker and spoke up? Trust me her husband knew what was going on? He just didn't want to say it?🤨
Restaurants have a computer that tells them who is next to be seated it's not because someone decided to put all black people in one area. Why do these people have to always be so ignorant. I tell our hostess for God sakes don't put them all in one area they will scream racism… They look at me like I'm crazy and they remind me the computer tells them where to seat in the people. I said I know this but let's not give them a reason to start the dumb 💩.. Then a few days later low and behold here it is . A black person screaming racism because there were to many blacks on one side.. Which the only one that suffered is the server have all these bottom feeders in their section because we all know they don't tip and if they do it's an insult. I've given some their money back and told them they can keep their 2 dollars because it didn't even cover my tip share

This does happen. I was in the same situation with another restaurant. I remeber being passed through dining area where were only white folks sitting with the tables available around them. And we were seated in the other dining area where were only people of color. Tell me that was just a coincidence.
I went to a restaurant once, wife was already sitting and. Told them her name, and they told me no one there with that name. Litter did they know my wife is white, this happened about 13 times😉 Oh yeah mistake right
I've gotta take a picture of my break room at amazon. The Haitians sit together,the black Americans sit together,the hispanics group together naturally. It's just how some people feel comfortable,stop being snowflakes
