My first Vinitaly or two the FOMO was almost *painful.* I felt so much pressure to see / meet everyone and taste through every region.
You know the impulse to visit Italy for five days and pack in Venice, Florence and Rome? Nooooo. You gotta believe that you’ll be back. A frantic Italy is not an enjoyed Italy, and that’s just not right!
The longer I study Italian wine the less surprised I am to be completely surprised by more and more and more wines I’ve never heard of before. The variety is truly vast and that’s what I love about it!
📍This is Piazza delle Erbe, a lovely historic piazza in the heart of the old town. There is an art museum nearby with paintings of the piazza throughout history, which made me appreciate its beauty even more!
🙋♀️ Do you know the name of the other major piazza in Verona where many people gather for an aperitivo? Put it in the comments!
