Champagne is only true champagne if it’s made in the Champagne region of northern France. All other sparkling wines made outside of this region, even those from neighboring parts of France, must be labeled differently. Champagne often costs double the price of other sparkling wines, such as prosecco or cava. A decent-quality bottle of it can cost you anywhere from $50 to $300, and vintage bottles often sell for thousands.

  1. I hope climatic change in my lifetime is enough to move champagne production from France to Scotland. I hate the french pronunciation so much.

  2. If you do the same thing in poor countries, your drink will be considered dirty. But when it’s done in a rich country like France, it increases the price for some reason?

  3. Funny to think in earth the most people who love Champagne will cause is death ! I bet they serve champagne in private jets 😂

  4. But Italian prosecco is so superior they champagne is just a common sparkly white wine

  5. Surprisingly, the video doesn't mention at all, why the wine is famous. Just says that it's production is limited.

  6. What rich people eat or drink becomes expensive for example when in 17 or 18 century when rich ate white rice and poor millets rice was expensive now poor people eat rice and rich eat millets so millets have become expensive
