Coffee in the morning is one of life’s greatest pleasures. We woke up super early today to watch the sunrise from our terrace. It was definitely worth the effort – the sun looked amazing and all you could hear was the birds singing and church bells in the distance.
We love to have a proper coffee with milk in the morning. We are too lazy to go out to buy it and do not own a coffee machine. It turns out you don’t need one to make a good cup of coffee. The secret is a decent ground coffee so if you can, do not try to make savings here. A French coffee press or an Italian caffettiera are your best options for brewing coffee. If you are going to get a French press we recommend buying a metal one as the glass ones often break. Here is a link to a good French press below :
You can heat the milk in any saucepan, but if you like one with a whistle specifically for boiling milk as shown in our video, you can one here:
