Delicious Italian restaurants every night for a week? Sign us up! Every year, the “Week of Italian Cuisine in the World” promotes Italian culinary traditions and food-and-wine connoisseurship as a distinctive trait of Italian identity and culture. In collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco, we spent a week trying different Italian restaurants in the Bay Area and experienced the “Italian Drive-in Movie Night” at Fort Mason, where we watched Alberto Sordi’s “Un Americano in Roma” (“An American in Rome”, 1954).
