Presenting Meet the Producer, a virtual wine tasting with producers across the Italian peninsula! Each month, one of Cavinona’s winemakers will select three of their favourite bottles and host a virtual tasting where we will learn the story behind each wine and discover the passion that fuels these producers in making these Indigenous Italian wines. In addition to picking up your wines at Spaccio (22 Sackville St.) we will be emailing you your Zoom access link 24 hours before the start of your class. Once you pick up your kit, store all bottles in the fridge.
This month we have Giovanna Bagnasco from Agricola Brandini! This Piemonte based producer has always believed that organic is a way of life rather than a method of production. They believe in the importance of this philosophy in order to leave the ground in better conditions than they found it as their grapes are grown in full respect of the wonderful land that hosts them in Piemonte.
