On Saturday, June 6, several restaurants in downtown Harrisburg reopened doors as they kicked off their new weekly event “Saturday in the City.” On June 5, business were allowed to offer outdoor dining as part of Pennsylvania’s yellow phase. The weekly events are designed to give struggling restaurants an opportunity to boost business during the coronavirus pandemic. Many flooded the streets of the downtown area, while some businesses ask that customers continue practicing social distancing.
