Lasagna on a Budget

1# Ground turkey
2#’s Shredded Mozzarella
1# Cottage Cheese
2 24 oz jars of Marinara Sauce
1 16oz package of oven ready lasagna sheets

Brown Ground turkey or Beef whatever you prefer over medium heat adding in a dash of Italian seasoning blend(basil, oregano, parsley ,garlic and onion) cook until browned and internal temperature has reached 165, drain grease and set aside.

Take 1 bag of shredded mozzarella 1# and mix into a bowl with the package of cottage cheese.

Pull out a cake pan 9×13 , open 1 jar of sauce and spread a thin layer of sauce to the pan, cover that layer with a layer of lasagna sheets, then add a layer of the cottage cheese blend, top with a layer of the meat, cover that with sauce then add another layer of lasagna sheet’s, continue to repeat the layers, then top with 1 more layer of lasagna sheets a a layer of sauce and spread the second half of the cheese over the top. Place a sheet of aluminum foil over the top and bake @350 for 30 mins, remove the pan and uncover, place back into the oven for 15 mins to brown the cheese, let set for 15 mins out of the oven then cut into 3×4 squares and enjoy
